Samrya Gardens celebrates Garangao Night

Samrya Gardens celebrated Garangao night on the 16th of April 2022. The celebration featured traditional activities especially for children.

The eventful Garangao night included entertainment activities, henna painting, as well as gift giveaways.


Garangao is a traditional national festivity held annually in mid-Ramadan. Garangao celebrations are passed down through generations as part of Qatar’s popular heritage that contributes to strengthening moral and social relationships between neighbours and family members, inspiring feelings of warmth and friendship.”

The mascots Masha and the Bear and other Bear friends – joined in the festivities and celebrated the event with children as they collected treats.
